The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) appeal challenging the Karnataka High Court’s decision to quash summons issued to Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s wife, BM Parvathi, in the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) scam case.A Bench comprising Chief Justice of India BR Gavai and Justice K Vinod Chandran criticized the ED’s involvement, remarking that political battles should be fought in the public domain, not in court.“Let political battles be fought among the electorate.
